Asking again: Has the rot started to set in?

Has the rot started to creep in?

As was the case with the Ohio loss, it’s not rot, just more of what we’ve had for 8 seasons

Rot means we get curb-stomped once down 19 on the road on a cold day.

They didn’t quit. The effort and culture are still good

It’s the coaching, fundamentals, and development that aren’t good enough to have consistency

A month of working on ourselves, and it results in ZERO rushing yards against a bad defense

Just another non-October and non-November game

So do we fire Campbell now? That way all our recruits and players to transfer? You are a freaking genius. .Really smart.

I'm not a doomsayer but Campbell does have some glaring issues to resolve it he's ever to take the next step here. The offensive line being the biggest issue followed by not being prepared in multiple scenarios.

He's won over all and every program/team has ebbs and flows throughout a year that look like things are inconsistent, so I can't question things in the grand scheme, but at a spot like ISU, there needs to be some sort of foundation or 'thing' to build off of.

What is that thing? What is ISU known for that is always reliable?

Running backs are about as close as you're going to get to a football strength for us.

Maybe TE's now too.
I think you have to have guys in the league making an impact. Kolar is getting some snaps, but is a TE3 prior to Andrew’s’ injury. I don’t think we can say ISU has done something interesting in terms of TE development. Brahmer can be special.

Lean heavily into Purdy and the RBs.

first podcast after liberty bowl loss. they talked about isu being dark horse to win big 12 in 2024 lol
Who is your pick soakitinCyder? Yes, as I said in the podcast, I think Iowa State will be a top half team next year with 20 starters returning off a team that won 6 Big 12 games. Appreciate you listening as always.
