Eastern Illinois 56
Iowa State 91

Go Cyclones!

I looked up the box score out of curiosity and saw Iowa had two players shoot 0-7 from 3 point which is basically the same as a bunch of turnovers.

My strategy is don't have two high volume 3pt shooters make zero 3s.
Looks like they shot 21% from 3 and 62% from the free throw line. That won't beat many teams if you don't play defense.

Looking at EIU's schedule I noticed they beat the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics 112-50 on December 2. Even the Hoks could beat HSPE, or at least make it close.

Cyclones bring the state bragging rights back home 91-65.

I love how TJ has all five of these guys playing super-intense defense in this mid-December buy-game.

Lipsey with a behind the back out of necessity.

Might be the first time I've ever seen that.

Milan may not be the quickest defender in the world but I like how active he is and he seems to be a capable rebounder.

Curtis Jones is starting to heat up the last few games. Hope he can keep it up come conference play.

OK, enough letting them think they can hang with us. Time to turn it on

EIU looks fairly skilled and seasoned.

Getting this far into the season, these 'buy' teams don't flinch.

They've been beaten handily by a few decent teams but not 50'd.
