What are your top 3 christmas movies?

-Muppets Christmas Carol
-Plains, Trains, and Automobiles - actually a Thanksgiving movie, but it always felt like an overall holiday movie to me.
-Gremlins

Honorable mention: The Ref, Black Christmas, any of the classic Ranking-Bass stop motion animation/cartoon movies, Home Alone, Elf.

That entire supporting cast and writing was underrated. It your keying in Culkin, you’re doing it wrong.

Pesci as the burglar is still my favorite.

And Culkin was still a kid. I think some people are using the adult version of MC to retroactively judge his performance

The lack of respect for Home Alone in here is astounding and you all should be ashamed.
It's good, just not top-3. Premise is kind of weak comparitively. But interesting behind the scenes stuff, like them using dried potatoes for all the snow, and all the inside house scenes being filmed at a vacant HS in Chicago's south suburbs.

Yeah imo about everyone else was great. Repeating but Catherine O'hara deserved an oscar for keeping it together during Candy's funeral parlor story, I don't care how long they worked together; that's hard work.

Christmas Vacation
Otter Jugband
Gremlins
Emmet Otter is a good pull. Used to watch that all the time as a kid. I would try to get my kids to watch it with me but the little monsters seem to despise everything I loved as a child.
