If you think KF is going to hire anything other than a cold bowl of plain oatmeal for the next OC, you're kidding yourself.

How many of you guys have already submitted fake applications?
I did.How many of you guys have already submitted fake applications?
I'm going to cry foul if Heywood Jablowme doesn't get an honest, hard look. How many of you guys have already submitted fake applications?
That would seriously be hilarious. My sources are saying Scott Frost.
Have we decided if Mangino is available?I've heard Scott Frosts name come up a bunch today. Talk about replacing one Dbag with another. How more unlikable could that team possibly be if that happens?
Careful man, you are going to end up getting hired!I did.
Listed my address as Section 8 housing and my GPA as 25 points per game (people always inflate those to look good).
I’m not sure why Ludwig would do that.Sounds like Ludwig from Utah or Paul Chryst are most likely.
Iowa, just like ISU has a policy in place that states all positions must be publicly posted for a minimum of seven days.
Second, it is VERY common at the three regent universities to name interims for roles. ISU currently has an interim VP of DEI, Director of Equal Opportunity, along with several others. The interim person is placed in the role to maintain continuity and keep the department running on a day-to-day basis. The role and authority of an interim depends on the university leadership. Some interims are nothing more than a placeholder (Bob Bowlsby at UNI), while others are given the green light to make wholesale changes.
Search committees happen all the time for roles reporting to the university President or Provost. At Iowa, Barta retired at the start of the academic year, so these committees with a strong academic presence on them are not in position to worry about the AD role. They are trying to start the academic year. Just and FYI, ISU currently has two active search committees functioning.
As mentioned in another post, the search committee does the leg work and presents the President with the top candidates. This eliminates any potential bias, preference, etc. Often, when the committee is reviewing resumes, they won't see the name of the person to help eliminate any gender bias. This process is taken seriously by the search committees to ensure all candidates a treated equally.
Iowa is a state institution, and anyone could submit a FOIA request to get information about the search.
That would seriously be hilarious.
Who will want to transfer in with McNamara already being the high paid starter? Is Iowa recruiting a QB, or are they really rolling with McNamara/Hill/freshman next season?
I agree, he's just the complete opposite of everything KF believes in when it comes to offense. He actually seems to be a good offensive coordinator. The funny part is a Nebraska guy going to their fake rival
The football team doesn't need CMac. They already mastered the bounce pass:An insider told me that the new OC is going to be a fresh hire. Unconventional also. Coincides with a new assistant basketball coach also. Fran and Kirk have come to an understanding, Connor MAC is the new OC and Brian Ferentz will be an assistant basketball coach. The gravy trains need to keep rolling.
I very highly doubt it will be Ludwig. I'm guessing it will be Philbin or someone we haven't even heard yet. No matter what, it will still be a KF offense.I’m not sure why Ludwig would do that.
