Why would you doubt teams are willing to pay well in excess of $1,000,000 for him? He was just awarded Big 12 offensive freshman of the year. Matt Rhule just said and I quote: "Make no mistake, a good QB in the portal costs $1-2 million." I think he likely takes a major jump from freshman to sophomore as well. I think some fans may be undervaluing Rocco.

I love Rocco and hope he's here for 3 more years. If he's not, we'll move on like we always do. I doubt we could or should spend 1 million on one player.

Both will stay for at least next season, after that all bets are off. If Rocco plays at a high level he may want to chase the money, and if he stays, no way Kohl sticks around and sits the bench for another couple of years.

Rocco wont go chase money. If he doesnt see the field, I dont believe Kohl would stay. Honestly, its pretty neat to say ISU has a QB room full of future NFL talent

This may be me drinking the Kool-Aid here too much, and if so, im sure you all will let me know, but boy it feels like this program took a massive next step, and moved itself up a tier, ESPECIALLY, if we can keep everyone here and healthy.

Again, drinking kool aid here, but i am more excited for this bowl game than ive been in a while just to be able to watch this team play again, and im just as excited for the 24 season. LFG!

Totally agree with this, I feel like ISU is really on the cusp of having a great team in the near future if we can keep the talent we have!

Rocco seems like a loyal player and leader. Agree he won’t go seek NIL. He’s a starting QB on a decent P5 program. I also think he enjoys ames

Incorrect. They play less conference games than anyone else. They play 4 non-conference games. They only need to win 2 conference games to go bowling @ 6-6. They also only played 4 away games this year.

Texas A&M non-conference this year:

Win versus Abilene Christian (5-6)
Win versus New Mexico (4-8)
Win versus UL Monroe (2-10)
Loss @ Miami (FL) (7-5)

Texas A&M conference wins this year:

Win versus Auburn (6-6)
Win versus Arkansas (4-8)
Win versus South Carolina (5-7)
Win versus Mississippi State (5-7)

I hope you are right and if he leaves it's for the NFL, but I would guess that fans at Duke and KSU could have said the same thing about Howard and Leonard last week, now both are leaving for money and greener pastures.

KSU fans knew and hoped Howard would be moving on. They are all in on Avery Johnson.

I don’t like that they only play 8 conference games. If look look at their schedule vs ours and got to play the season again, which schedule would you choose today?

To me this is NCAA doing the bidding of NIL. Wasn’t able to read the full article. But that’s rights the player is losing out on, watering down their brand.
