*** Official IOWA STATE vs #12 Texas A&M Game(Day) Thread ***

There's really no in between and one game's results are just what the team will be forever.

Fully expect this game to be tight to the end and could go either way at the end. I’ll be watching to see what the coaching staff does to get Milan freed up and if we can get out in transition even a little bit. Can’t recall many “easy” run outs in this tournament. Seems like we kind of reverted back to the past two years in these games.

My prediction is eventually Milan adds getting down to the block and changes everything but it will take a while to work in for his comfort and confidence.

The same for Omaha; I can see him ascending a bit today after a couple of wake up calls.

Even a close loss with things like better free throw shooting is a step in the right direction imo.

VCU beat Penn State by 12 (22-win tourney team last year). I know transitive property doesn't work in sports but I think that was a decent team we beat on Thursday.

Maybe this explains why we're 1.5 pt favorites today. I was thoroughly confused when I saw that.

Should be a good game today, we match up pretty similar to them. Tamin can guard their point guard/leading scorer and Tre can get their PF. Keshon can take their shootin guard. Their other guard might be an interesting matchup, he is a 6’6 guard so kinda a tweener which means we could see more Demarion

An all time transitive property from last year...
Eastern Illinois beat Iowa, Iowa beat ISU, ISU beat St John's, St John's beat UCONN, Eastern Illinois national champs???

I'm just messing, I agree with you on VCU, they are an athletic freakish team, might be a decent win by the end of the year

Still riding the high from last night. If they win today, it’s a very good resume builder. If they lose, the world won’t come crashing to an end. The team will have plenty more opportunities to prove they are worthy of a NCAA tournament bid when conference play starts

Wow! FAU wins championship 84-50. I sure hope we don't play Bryant!
