NO…. it’s nothing like reviewing a TD pass and calling holding…. what DeJean did was NOT a penalty moron!! Why do Iowa fans continue to spew such nonsense?!
If they could call a penalty on a scoring play review, they would have called a penalty on Iowa on the play for leaping!
Also…. I see KF has already changed his story about the play. After the game he said that was just how Cooper runs…. and yesterday he said he waved his arm like this…. and showed how he did it. He is now back on the storyline that Cooper didn’t wave above his head…. which is also meaningless in this situation. So clueless.

Oh, I see the side judge/line judge chatting with coaches during stoppages all the time. I could see the LJ telling Kirk they were checking the out-of-bounds; I could also see that LJ saying that without actually knowing everything the replay booth wanted to look at.
They are still whiny about this? No matter how many times KF changes the company line, they lap up whatever nonsense he mutters. The call was correct. Move freaking on.
And the funny thing is, its not even the only thing wrong with that play. The other thing was the refs not calling iowa for a leaping penalty on the punt. Iowa benefited from that no-call, which still gave them a chance to go get a FG for the win, instead of it being first down Minnesota.
Iowa didn't get screwed here, at all. If anything Minnesota had a legitimate gripe.
And what the LJ says they may be reviewing is irrelevant as they review all reviewable aspects of the play. Kirk saying “they were only looking at if he stepped out of bounds” further proves Kirk doesn’t know the rules. And then he keeps spewing these false narratives where the fans base eats it up and believes him!
I personally like the Iowa fans here who admit the proper call was made, but yet it still isn’t fair the touchdown was taken off the board.
What’s the over under? 22 as well?
Not just whining about it... KF yesterday, a month after the fact, was swearing and literally crying in the post game presser yesterday about how it was the worst call he's ever seen since he's been in coaching. He looked like a complete tool up there not having any idea what he was talking about. Nothing he said made any sense in regards to the call.
He waved his hand low, trying to show what Cooper did, and then waved it up high trying to show what a fair catch is... only showing he still has no F*CKING clue what the call was and the rule applied. He only proved how correct the call was by doing it. It was painful to watch the old man... BF should have gone up there and took him off stage to save him from the humiliation.
I really think this is his last year. It doesn't make any sense at all for him to come back. Does he really want to work for the person that fired his son? KF doesn't listen to anyone.... he won't have it. And... he should know that Iowa will NEVER have a shot at a B1G Championship game appearance EVER again after this year. No way will Iowa finish in the top 2 in a B1G with Michigan, tOSU, Oregon, Washington, USC, and Penn State. NEVER. He should step down on top after this season if he knows anything.... which yesterday he proved he doesn't... so who knows what he will do.
I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying Kirk and Iowa fans are dead wrong. Vs when ISU fans have a legitimate gripe but Iowa fans want to give us crap for complaining about calls.
It was absolutely the correct call on the invalid fair catch signal, and it's ridiculous to be bringing it up weeks later and have Iowa fans justify Kirk doing that. It must be because in their warped homer perspective they are allowed to dig in simply because they are hoks so its somehow different... because it certainly can't be because the call was incorrect

Hahaha holy sh*t I forgot that Kirk had said that is how he runs! JFC, that was so embarrassing for him at the time. And now to hear him continually b*tch but now finding new ways to b*tch it - God, it’s great. He truly represents the whiniest little ***** (yet somehow the most arrogant prick) fanbase in sports.
If Iowa doesn't catch their normal 4-6 unbelievably lucky breaks in this game... this is EASY money. Michigan should win by 4+ TDs without breaking much of a sweat you'd think.
