And neither is Iowa. There absolutely was a call. The call was touchdown on the field. Thats not debatable. Lol
I don’t disagree with you that they shouldn’t have even been in that position though. Minnesota is not good.

Fair catch signals are in kirks blind spot, like racism and sexual harassment/rape; but just like he solved them, he will solve invalid fair catch signals also.If Kirk and the Iowa fanbase still don’t understand this, they’re never going to understand it. It’s just another bullet point on a long list of why everyone outside of Hawkeyeworld recognizes them as one of the most insufferable fanbases in college sports.
IMO, it’s great when they keep beating this dead horse. Kirk should bring it up in every press conference, and fans should go to all the other rival sports boards and discuss it some more. It’s a very low stakes way to show the rest of what they are: ridiculous and childish.
Also, this is hysterical coming from an ISU fan. Seneca Wallace still gets brought up to this day. Try not being a hypocrite.
Like you said, some people are incapable. The players playing the game and officials on the field did not think he signaled. Had no impact on the outcome of the play. Should have stood as called on the field.
End of the day it really doesn’t matter. They aren’t winning next week and they weren’t likely getting to a NY6 bowl even with that win.
Done for today, focusing in on who gets the right to play Iowa in B10 CCG.
I’m guessing he’s bringing up the “he’s in” TD that didn’t happen against FSUWhat did Seneca do? Kick Iowa’s ass?

I know there is a national discussion (ongoing) about Iowa's lack of offense.Like I said, some of you are incapable. It was literally a national discussion as to whether it was or wasn’t an invalid signal.
They reviewed to see if he stepped out of bounds? He was never close to out of bounds. Most Iowa fans frustration is that the review was to see if he stepped out of bounds and then they called that after the fact. It’s like reviewing a TD pass and then seeing holding and calling it after the fact. The invalid fair catch signal was technically the correct call but that’s not the problem most people have with the call. You can’t review a scoring play for one specific thing and go looking for something else otherwise a whole bunch of TD’s would be getting called back.
At the end of the day Iowa is 10-2 and playing in the B1G Championship game despite a horrendous offense and terrible luck with injuries. I’m enjoying the moment and also fully expect to get blown out by OSU or UM.
That’s what they told Kirk that’s what they were reviewing. They reviewed to see if he stepped out of bounds? He was never close to out of bounds.
Well if we know anything it’s how honest Kirk is haha. That’s what they told Kirk that’s what they were reviewing.
I was seeing tweets basically begging Iowa fans to attend indy. Can’t blame the lack of interest from Iowa fans. Who would spend money during the holiday season to watch your team get an a$$ whooping? You guys going to Indy? Seems to be a lot interest in the team.
I've never seen an official go over to the head coach before going to the replay screen. When did this conversation take place? That’s what they told Kirk that’s what they were reviewing.
Worst 10-2 team in America. Not even close.
And Iowa destroyed ISU!The only reason why all those B1G West teams are around .500 is because they get to play each other. Illinois got handled by Kansas, who is maybe the 5th or 6th best team in the Big 12, Wisconsin got handled by Washington St who is near the bottom of the PAC 12, Nebraska got destroyed by Colorado who is last in the PAC 12. Just a few examples. You have to give Iowa credit for winning all those close games, but the reality is they are a mediocre team who beat a lot of bad teams. That sums up most of the last 10 years of Iowa football.
