F*CK IOWA

How can a team in the Big 10 not face a top 50 offense all season? Is Penn State the only team they played with more than 7 wins?

Teams all year have found ways to lose to Iowa. Luckiest team in the country.
At this point, Iowa hasn't beat a single team guaranteed to end with a record over .500. They have four chances to have beat a 7-5 team. If ISU beats KSU, if NW beats Illinois, if Wiscy beats Minny or if Rutgers beats Maryland. I could see the three B1G teams all losing to end 6-6 and I am not confident of ISU in Manhattan. And that includes against their two tune up teams (Utah State 6-6, W Michigan 4-8).

I don’t care how many games they win, but “f$c! Iowa”. Always bet the under. You win every time.
Ugh, what happens when they play a team with a pulse next weekend? It would have to be at least 42.5 before I would consider the under. East winner -42?

Got a preview of the carnage that is about to happen when they got their a*s handed to them by Penn State -- which finish THIRD in their division.

It's going to be ugly -- but glorious at the same time.

No way the big ten lets Iowa even keep it close. Iowa winning costs the conference, what, 15MM in playoff money?
Similar to the rumor back then of the Big Ten making a backdoor deal with Wisconsin to get absolutely curb stomped by Ohio State 56-0 the first year of the playoff?

I really hope you are right. The thing is, you should be right, but this year has been weird.

I'm of the opinion that Michigan and tOSU aren't as strong as prior years so look for Iowa to have a chance.

Just saw on ESPN where the Queen of Iowa and the great role model that she is, she flat out two hand shoved a gal down. Wasn’t even near the play! What a punk azz little *****!! Bet Iowa media loves her even more now, especially Murph and Andy.

No, just have the officials not call holding for a few plays and let Mich/OSU get two touchdowns and you have guaranteed that Iowa can’t win. 14 points will ensure an Iowa loss.

Be interesting to see how The Game plays out but I feel opposite about Michigan. I think this is Khaki pants best team yet. It's the best they've been at quarterback and defense might be even slightly better. Ohio State is so much different than recent years that it's hard to compare but i think you're correct on them

Kirk is still talking about the invalid fair catch call. This clip was from after the Nebraska win

Have we ever had a head coach still lamenting a correct call over a month after the fact? I mean, if I was an Iowa fan I'd probably love this, but it's also ridiculous considering all the **** we take from Iowa fans when it comes to whining about the officials.

It’s incredible how much this still sticks in the craw of Kirk and Iowa fans, particularly when it’s been explained over and over again that 1) it was the correct call, 2) no, it wasn’t a penalty (ineligible for review) and 3) yes, the replay officials have the ability to make that call even if the onfield officials didn’t tell Kirk that.

It almost seems like Kirk is mostly mad that he was told they were only reviewing whether DeJean stepped out, and he thinks it was some conspiracy that the officials made up a reason to reverse the TD. Which is really stupid, if you take two seconds to think about it.

Anyway, Kirk should stop by ISU and take a look at the Big XII wall of apology letters before he starts getting all wound up about getting screwed when the call was correct.

“They still can’t explain it to the letter”

Joe, you must be some kind of illiterate savant to be able to post online while at the same time not being able to read NCAA rules, or the explanation put out by B1G officials the following Monday, or all the other non-Iowa-fans-with-blinders who’ve explained it clearly and fully. It’s a goddam miracle!
