Commercials that need to be shot into the sun

Toyota is also making it exceedingly difficult to even buy a new Grand Highlander, artificially constricting the supply to dealers and making buyers wait for whatever model/color they might deign to ship to your particular dealer. Which makes me wonder why they’re spending money to create and air commercials for a vehicle you can’t just go to a dealer and buy off the lot.
The Wilson Toyota ads make me never want to buy a Toyota.

Can't remember if Wilson Toyota does this, but any local/regional ad where the business owner inserts their kids pretty much guarantees that they'll never get a dollar of my money. I'm additionally motivated to go out of my way to call them up and tell them "Nobody, outside of you, thinks your kids are cute or special."

Yeah I don't know what the deal is with Natasha Lyonne's weird Jersey-girl-from-the-1940s schtick in those ads. She used to be an admired and pretty edgy actor, at least from what I remember of her. Slums of Beverly Hills I thought was a good movie, and I don't remember her sounding like that at all. It's pretty grating.
I really liked her in both Russian Doll and Poker Face. Even though she had that same accent in both. Thought it worked well for her.

For me it’s the Dr Pepper Fansville ads. The first couple years it seemed like every week there would be new ads and it did kind of feel like a somewhat cohesive story. This year it’s just the same two ads that show every week. They were smart and funny the first couple times I seen them. The 500th time, not so much.
It's a shame, because I've really enjoyed the world they've created.

Although it's pretty hilarious watching Caleb Williams showing how unafraid of bad luck he is in a season that had him crying in his mom's arms on national television by week 9.

The Tampax commercial on every single CF podcast deserves a mention
Yeah I don’t understand that one. I just skip ahead to the 2:30 mark on most CF pods. The ads are the same thing as of a year ago basically.

The Derek / Hannah Jeter "I Drove all night" Jeep commercial. Maybe because it aired during the MLB playoffs every time a pitcher scratched himself or maybe because it's too stormy to take off in the private jet, but not too stormy to drive "all night"? And what kind of GPS does that rig have where he ends up in the middle of the woods and nearly hits a wolf? Thank God for the night vision camera or he could have been killed.

I will add Crow Tow to the list if it’s not already. Everyone in Central Iowa hates that damn company so don’t put your 6 year old kid as the face of it. Doing the whole little kid family member thing won’t even remotely make people not associate Crow Tow to their insanely aggressive and shady ass practices.
Not even sure it's due to the kids, but more so Sean's annoying crow sound that used to be on KXNO. I don't listen anymore, which is how I fixed that.

Who is the old gal on those medicare commercials with the huge glasses? She really needs throat punched. So damn annoying and the actors cant even act!!
I don't know about the throat punching part, but I'm getting really tired of depictions of seniors as bugeyed & exceptionally (and aggressively) stupid.

I've heard it's a way to pay kids money from the business. An accounting trick to turn part of the advertising budget into a college fund for little Suzy.

I hate most commercials but the Ted Lasso send-up with the football coaches using the quacamole to bench his qb, makes me chuckle every time.

"Get me another tray. And the kicker."
