Cooper DeJean injured?

Ok, injuries stink but the offense wasn’t exactly clicking when those guys were all playing in the first 3-5 games anyway.
2 of the 3, Lachey and All were playing really well before their injuries. Probably lose at least Iowa State game without them and maybe Michigan state because All was really good in that game though Lachey had already been lost.

McNamara was never healthy and Lachey was lost early in the season and All was lost halfway through. Would have liked to have seen a fully healthy McNamara, but we never might see it including next year depending on how he recovers from his ACL.

He's played his last game for Iowa. No way he's coming back for a meaningless bowl game, not with his professional future.

Dating myself but Mike Nurse had a great game same night as getting hit by a truck.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Mike got hit by the truck on Sunday night, 29 NOV. He was in the hospital that night and missed the road game at UNI on Wed, 02 DEC and the first home game of the Cyclone Challenge on Friday. He then unexpectedly came into the game against Western Illinois on Saturday when ISU was losing the game. He pulled the game out in OT.

You've got to find a way out of that game if you are Iowa. Are Covid outbreaks still a thing?

Remember when the B1G changed rules to get OSU into the CCG instead of Indiana?

Why not just decide to make it the top 2 CFP-rated teams instead of the division setup? That's what they are doing starting next year, right? Why not do it tomorrow and just sucker punch Iowa?

I would guess it's because a 1 loss Ohio State has a shot to get into the playoff but an Ohio State that's swept by Michigan doesn't.

Dochterman is now saying broken fibula, which is a six week healing process. His last game in college might be behind him at this point. I wouldn't rush back for a bowl game if I was him.

Well, that’s a lot better than a ligament or tendon. Bones heal fully and quicker. Hopefully this doesn’t hurt his pro prospects with this happening now.

If you had to list Iowa's most important players to start the year I feel McNamara, Cooper, All, and Lachey would have been in the top 5 with Tory Taylor. Now four of those are gone for the season. Also, losing Shannon for the season hurt as well.
And Iowa will still win the West and play in the conference championship game!!
