F*CK IOWA

I can't wait for something to happen today that is nothing like last week but Iowa fans will insist it is and is just proof the refs were out to get them and then melt down even further.
Hope you're right. I want the butthurt to continue throughout the season. I know....I'm sick.

I was told by a squawk, that that same ref is banned from officiating any B12 games.. not sure where they got that, but they are throwing absolutely everything at the wall they can.
I think that's an exaggeration. I think the head umpire was suspended after Central Michigan's miracle win over Oklahoma State. I think he gave CMU a down they weren't supposed to have and it resulted in a Hail Mary lateral TD

Why am I constantly subjected to seeing Garza's picture on adds on this site. I never go or respond to anything sui.

They have moved on to succession planning at Hokireport. Here is the latest from SA_hawk...

"Adam Rittenberg on Dari and Mel this morning mention LeVar Woods as possible candidates for the Michigan State and Northwestern jobs.

He went on to say he thinks LeVar ultimately wants to stay at Iowa and take over for Kirk when he retires.

He also stated that he thinks Chris Klieman at Kansas State dream job is head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes."

Do any of them have idiot, underaccomplished sons who are going to want to be handed assistant coaching jobs for which they're clearly not qualified?

Klieman has never attended Iowa, never been a coach at Iowa, has no actual affiliations with Iowa other than growing up in Waterloo and attending/coaching at Northern Iowa. This sounds to be a case of “let’s find any successful coach with any ties to Iowa, no matter how remote those ties are. Then we will start the rumor mill that the coach really wants to coach at Iowa”. And maybe years ago before Klieman was the HC at NDSU he felt northern Iowa was his dream job. Just remove “northern” and now we can say in fact his dream job is indeed Iowa.

Big 10 affiliation aside, I'm not sure what about the Iowa job is innately better than K- State

Well, there certainly is more $'s...be it for the staff and/or NIL. Klieman will be successful wherever he coaches...be it KSU, Iowa, etc. Iowa would be more than happy to drop $8M (or more) a year on Klieman...

In the latest Iowa Everywhere podcast with CW and Jon Miller, Miller knows someone that is close to Klieman. The word is he will finish out his career at KSU, it is his last stop.
