49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

He's playing very well/smart but this team is loaded too.
Tua, Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Herbert are probably the 5 best right now.

well most of those other teams are loaded too.

I have no idea where Brock ranks this year for QBs. But he hasn't lost a game that he finished since last November or December. He went 20/21 today. I am not sure when he last threw an interception.

Yep very good points too.

Brock caps off an unbelievable game with a rushing TD. What a story this guy is.

Elite performance. 4th all time single game. Love statmuse.com btw, very cool site. Brock is the new Drew Brees, but more likable.

Note that he has the highest yards per attempt on that list. So yes, he can throw the deep ball.

Purdy is in the top 5 or so QB's today, Purdy just doesn't have a cannon for an arm and is not the 6'5 225 pounds, so people overlook him or say things like it's the system he is playing in.

The guy can just play, throw's a beautiful ball right where the receiver can catch it in stride. I get the feeling until he wins a couple of super bowls and starts making pro bowls people will always underestimate him.

He's just lucky to have great players he can throw to. Never mind that Joe Montana had Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Roger Craig.
Yep. And Troy Aikman had Smith and Irvin and nobody gives Aikman, or Brady, or Young, etc any crap for all the Hall of Fame talent they had around them. In reality all the greats had great players around them.

Well KCCI is a CBS affiliate & CBS carries mainly AFC games. These decisions are also made primarily at the network level, not by the local station.
Correct, KCCI could not have shown the 49's and Arizonia game today as both are in the NFC, which gives those rights to Fox. If it's an interleague game, then the home team determines if it's on CBS or Fox.
