*** Official IOWA STATE vs #14 Oklahoma Game(Day) Thread ***

The worst part about tonight

Is the realization of how bad we are. We’re at least 2 years away from being good again. Maybe find 4 or 5 wins next season. There’s such a lack of talent on this team.
We had recruiting by the nads after 2020 season. Guess all that talent that came to visiit at the 2021 games walked away cause it sure as hell isn't on this field.
Campbell sure screwed the pooch.

Hell, we got brutalized last weekend by a guy who couldn’t throw. Luckily OKState’s D was worse than ours.

Bowman was something like 23/48. He made a few plays but missed a LOT of throws we gave home. Gabriel? Um, not so much

Well...we can maaayyybbbe beat Kansas. Possibly BYU and Cinci. Maybe someone else.

This wasn't just a bad game or being overmatched. OU is better but ******* A, id Heacock isn't willing to vary his defense a bit more and play some press coverage commiserate with down and yardage, teams with competent QBs will have a field day with this defense. It's one thing to get best by OU but to make it that easy? What a joke.

You're not seeing why ISU can't just play press coverage?

Welp, another year where I put optimism for a decent season in the closet to save my mental health and find joy in EIU struggling and BF’s chase to stay on the right side of 25.
