Sure but Miami has been playing winning baseball and the Cubs have just been finding ways to lose games they have late leads in. Miami owns the tiebreaker too.

Marlins currently up 4-3 in the 8th and the Cubs just loaded the bases for Milwaukee in the 5th with no outs. If Miami wins and the Cubs lose tonight there’s almost no way the Cubs can catch and pass them.

Yeah I thought Miami was still down 3-0 but they came back. It’s looking bleaker

For sure. And honestly, even though of course I want to see the Cubs in the playoffs, teams like Miami and Arizona deserve it. They have played their way into this spot and are earning the right to play in the postseason. The Cubs for the past 15 games have played like a team that finishes 20 games out of the divisional crown.

Watched most games all year. Pitcher injuries hurt us down the stretch. Maybe this happens everywhere, but the 15 day dl because of a “strain’ is weak.

who are you going to send up? Lotta guys were hitting low but don't see you ******** about them. Granted I did not want to see him up there but 2 other batters did not do their job. Now we can all relax until next March.

Cuas trade was a terrible move by FO. He negatively impacted our playoff chances.
