I grew up a Virginia Tech fan, but really don’t care for them ever since they waitlisted me and I ended up going to Iowa State instead. No backup college football team for me really anymore.

I originally from South Dakota, so it’s the Jackrabbits for me.

I was born in South Dakota, have a good amount of family in SD, and my parents met at South Dakota State. We follow the Jackrabbits closely.

That win against Montana State last week was an instant classic.

TBH the NFL has become a lot more fun considering you don't have to wonder if half your team is getting bought away by the 4 teams in the conference finals or wonder if you're just waiting on the news of the Packers, Patriots, 49ers, Steelers, and Cowboys to leave you in the dust so you can never watch your favorite team play meaningful games again

This is actually a pretty big deal. Combine this stuff with your team playing the most horrible to watch losing football you've seen in 35 years and here we are

My backup team is the Colts. Been a rough few years since Luck. . . but I think Richardson was the best quarterback as far as potential upside in the last draft

It's hard to watch, let alone enjoy, other college football programs on TV when ours is so bad. Our team seemingly sucks all joy and interest out of the sport. Watching other teams have even a modicum of success just elicits more frustration and hopelessness about the current state of the program. Definitely makes one want to pursue other hobbies and forget about the misery coming out of Ames altogether.
Today has truly been a sad day. Today, all faith and hope in the program was lost.
