how about just putting the ball through the goal post in a way the ref doesn't have to make that decision? lots of room to the left of the right post.

I don't know if the rule is the same in college, but in the NFL if any part of the ball goes over any part of the post, it is good.

If I remember my Oklahoma State-Iowa State lore properly, in college the entire ball has to be inside the post.

In year 8, the product that CMC puts on the field is a huge disappointment.

I am afraid so and what is more striking is that it appears to be worse than last years team. Knew this year would be tough to break .500 but not too much to expect progress towards that.
