Outside of the pick 6 I thought Rocco looked fine and generally made the smart throws. Too many drops.

Defense and ST is good enough to win 6. It’s been established that our style plays into Iowa’s hands too well.

Rocco looks ok but he didn't throw many passes over 10 yards. People rag on CMC offense but ISU doesn't have the horses at WR. Play calling I agree could be better.

I'm not sure what to think about the scheme. Trying to play to our strengths with TE and limited WR, but I'd like to see more play action and more creative route trees.

At the same time, Noel is better than he played today. Higgins has shown some good stuff. My hope is they make today a one-off and keep improving. We'll see.

All the positive signs we saw from last week turned out to be fools gold when we actually played a D1 squad. It was a mirror image of last season. 4-8 would be a good year. Campbell has reached the death rattle stage of his ISU career.

If he only wins 4 again he's in real trouble. How do you even sell ISU to recruits? There is more excitement with KU football than ISU right now honestly.

I can’t believe you guys. We knew it would be a close, low scoring game - a defensive struggle. Iowa has one of the top defenses in the nation, and we have a very young, inexperienced offense. What did you expect?

Meanwhile, our defense looked good, but Iowa’s offense is meh. The best I can say for the Clones is that we’ll get better as the season goes along (offensive line willing).

We make excuses that we don't have the horses at WR. How can you tell if you don't throw the ball over 10 yds. The threat of going deep helps run medium and longer routes. Our players have more talent than our coaches.
