I truly don’t believe CMC has any idea how to prepare a team for this game. He certainly does not treat it as important as iowa treats. Which is batsh*t stupid. Iowa treats it like a Super Bowl because it’s a really ****ing important game. Every year. I would argue it is the single most important game on our schedule. It certainly is for iowa, and they come prepared, they come disciplined.

We will improve some but not a lot. No Brock Purdys or Breece Halls on this team. Even with those elite players we were only average on offense.

It’s like groundhog day. We didn’t just get DESTROYED on special teams this year like some others but we got outplayed in that area yet again.

I agree he doesn’t know how to gameplan this game. That said it is far from the most important game.

The problem is he wants to run Iowa but we can’t do it as consistently. You have to play them differently unless you will be perfect.
