Seriously getting beat deep on the play action to the TE down the middle against Iowa should be grounds for termination.

That first drive had me fired up, even with the blocked FG. We were moving the ball rushing inside and getting passes underneath. Suddenly we're trying to run outside all the time and dropping passes. We finally get a pick in this series, and then immediately give up a pick-6.
Outside the bad PI call, the officiating at least looks even. They've been allowing contact all game but call that one?
Lol, is that a serious question? I expect to not get our asses kicked by iowa in the 1st half. I expect my team to show up mentally ready to play. I expect my team to not give up huge offensive plays to an awful offense.Starting freshman at qb, rb, and te. What were you expecting?
This is making us become better men and fathers. Trust the processIs this winning in the margins?
I mean. I hate to say it, but we are a bunch of pussies (I don’t care if this makes X or whatever). It’s not like we are the smaller team. Just *****.If we fired Campbell and made John Heacock the head coach, we would somehow get better.
The offense is the most basic, obvious what’s coming offense in football history. They run one run play and the route tree is either out routes of 4-6 yards or crossing routes of 3-7 yards. Don’t even get me started on the useless motion. The tight ends always go in motion, and wherever they go, the offense goes that direction. I said this last season and is still true this season, if I were a defensive coordinator for an opposing team, I would take the ISU week for a vacation. This offense is the easiest offense to go up against.Dan Mccarney use to win these games with almost no defense. How is Campbell not able to do it, with one of the best defense in the history of ISU.
It's not a read option, it's an outside zone. But Iowa's entire defense just flows laterally and creases never open. We need a more North/South running game.If u run the read option, the quarterback has to run it sometimes or it’s just a delayed handoff
How are we “fine”? We are doing everything possible to throw this game away. There has been zero spark thus far.
Yet many coaches on here are calling us to run outside. I would like Becht to hold on to a few of those outside zones.Becht has been okay. Missed on an easy throw and threw a pick 6 on a play that has no business even being in our ******* playbook. Play calling has been. Mostly terrible..
Every lateral play we've ran had been blown up. When our routes are working upfield (slants in particular) we've had more success.
