*** Official Iowa vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Our OC should be credited with half the interception. Rocco made a freshman mistake, tipping his hand and making a bad decision, but Scheelhaase gets an F- on all of the drives after the first. Running on first down ever time, getting no yardage on too many of them, and putting us in predictable passing scenarios. It makes it a lot easier for Iowa to anticipate and jump that route.

That last play should go in the trash. Play design is Manningesque and Mickey Mouse. Probably doesn't even work on practice.

I said all last year that Manning needed to go and the players disliked him. But they also had concerns that Manning was only doing what Campbell told/allowed him to do. That's proving out again today with Nate stuck in Campbell's out dated offensive schemes.
Then it is confirmed. If we go 4-8 or worse this year, Campbell's seat better be warm

Me 2 hours ago: “If we just clean up some mistakes, we likely win the last three CyHawks in Ames. That should give us a great chance today.”

* Give up 50-yard run on Iowa’s first possession
* Noel drops back-to-back passes
* Becht throws a pick-six

Me now: :oops:
After the last 8 years , you can predict the result of the game in the first 10 mins

They’re literally just waiting now for those passes. One man deep because everyone who’s ever watched ISU knows what’s coming. This offense is an abomination, and always has been. It used to be ran by a starting NFL QB, a starting NFL running back and an NFL tight end.
