Hello

BYU has their quirks, but we have freedom of religion in the US of A

Tammy has no real justification for their weirdness

Weirdness does not do it justice. Unless you’ve witnessed it or had some interactions with A&M fans, many people really don’t realize how completely off their rocker they are.

It’s why neither Romney nor Rick Perry ever had a real shot

So I asked this in another thread or maybe this one...what is the hatred to Utah?

Is it the 2010 thrashing or something else?

Just wanted to drop by and say how excited I am for my alma mater and my cougars to be a part of this great conference and for the opportunity to play Iowa State on a regular basis. I'm hoping to make it up to Utah for our game vs your cyclones in November. If anyone would like me to show you around the area or around campus or would like any recommendations. Let me know. I look forward to welcoming y'all to Provo!
So do you drink or is having 12 wives your only vice?

Their twitter fans have an extremely self inflated ego. They had fans saying they should turn down the big 12 and make a pitch to go to the big 10 instead. Plus they by far have been the most vocal fan base with calling the big 12 a “truckstop” conference.

From ISU fans currently? I think it is mainly because on line there is a strong Utah presence that thinks they are too good for the B12 liferaft they got. Well let them drown instead.
I'm guessing IRL 99% of their fans will be just fine.

I'm Czech and live in one of the biggest Czech towns in the US. Kolache is a pastry with a fruit jelly it's not a Pig's in the blanket BS that some call it.
Here in Texas we serve both the jelly and cream-filled kolaches and the sausage kolaches. The sausage kolaches must be a Texas thing then?

Attending the game and will be looking for tickets. What section for the visitors?
The visitor section is on the northwest corner. Though if you go through a 3rd party website like StubHub, you can often find tickets in most any section (though that might have changed since demand for tickets this season is soaring!).

Welcome to the Big12, I will also buy you a beer at tailgate, but I don't serve kolaches, mostly Burgers and brats, with some Alaska Salmon in the mix occasionally. Stop buy for a game of bags!
Heck yes! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Beer brats! I served my mission to northern Utah (Ogden, of all places) and we had a transplant family from Michigan and Indiana areas who made us beer brats for dinner and it was by far one of the best sausage/hot dog/hot link/bratwurst type of foods I had ever eaten. I've been trying to duplicate the flavor by making them at home with Shiner Bock and bratwursts but boy is it an art. I LOVE salmon! My aunt up in the Olympic Peninsula/Pudget Sound area would make fresh salmon steaks from local salmon acquired from the local tribe and it was as good as any steak or prime rib as I've ever had. I'd love to stop by, hopefully we get to play y'all in Ames next year so I can make the trip!

Speaking of Texas kolaches, has anyone been to Big Play Curvey’s place since he changed locations? I tried but it was a day he wasn’t open.
