There’s nothing anyone can do to make that happen except the Big 10. It’s not a play if it’s not a possible play. That’s just called delusion.

Exactly. On one hand, I like the optimism that the Big 12 could somehow acquire both UO and UW. Realistically though, the Big 12 making a play for them stands about as much chance of succeeding as me making a play for Margot Robbie.

Smart move is to lock down Oregon For B1G. And take Washington with. Half shares. Till next contract. Stanford and Cal do nothing.

It's such a defensive move to prevent them going to B12. Make no mistake BIG and SEC will do everything in it's power to keep the B12 down.

The reverse-auction was a tongue-in-cheek comment when I wrote that. But it appears Apple is doing something similar by pulling the offer after tomorrow. Yikes.

So much talk out there. ACC/Pac12 merger talks, Big10 looking at OU/WA.

I would think Apple doesn't want to be part of a circus after a year of talks. In fact, Jim Williams on 365Sports earlier this week said Apple's Tim Cook met with Pac12 as far back as 2019.
