UNC, UVA, and probably Duke will be B1G
Texas could very well go to Big Ten some day if the money is better and as a way of avoiding the quest to improve on the field.

You forgot Southwest Conference 1996.Thanks for your concern now for conferences Stew.

If anything I bet UVA is the B1G's #1 choice maybe #2 behind FSU.GT seems like they would be in front of UVA. Wouldn't UNC and Duke be substantial overlap since B1G seems to place their value on TV sets in certain regions?

Pretty much the state of the world now, zero empathy. "I didn't care when these things happened before to other people and it didn't affect me but now it happened to me and I'm mad about it"Thanks for your concern now for conferences Stew.

UVA is a premier public university academically, one of the best, if not the best, in the country. Plus, they have an NCAA championship pedigree in basketball.
Both fit the culture for sure. Good closer trips for WVU, UCF. I have no need for Louisville, a private school with major scandals recentlyPitt and NC State would be great Big 12 additions
I keep seeing FSU brought up, but they aren't AAU.
VT would be better than Pitt as far as fit goes.Pitt and NC State would be great Big 12 additions
That's exactly why FSU is getting outright vocal now. They see a potential landing spot in the B10 being eaten up.The ACC uncertinty probably just threw a big wrench into Washington and Oregon to the Big 10. Those 2 spots could easily be used for ACC refugees and ND.
It depends what the Big10's agreements are with CBS & NBC at the 3 & 7 time slots. CBS & NBC might have an exclusivity with Big10 that another Network linear game cannot be shown at those times.Would this make Fox less likely to want to move past 14? The Big10 wouldn’t add these for free and then adding these 4 will cost Fox a lot more than the 4 for the Big12. Also, I can’t imagine the Big10 is going to just add a couple more games to Peacock. They’re going to want another big boy time slot. Does that hurt the Big12’s chances at landing that last open time slot Fox has?

After they ruin the SEC you mean, right?Texas could very well go to Big Ten some day if the money is better and as a way of avoiding the quest to improve on the field.
It’s not a loophole. They can buy their way out of the GOR.
Maybe this has been discussed earlier, but why would the Big 10 bring in Oregon and Washington now? They didn't think it was a good idea last year, what changed in the meantime?
If anything with FSU doing all they can to blow up the ACC it would make more sense for the Big 10 to wait to see what happens with the ACC before doing anything with the Pac 12.
This is essentially why I don’t think Oregon and Washington are going where they (or any conference) wants them to go…but where the networks want them to go. At this point we’re waiting on Fox and ESPN…It depends what the Big10's agreements are with CBS & NBC at the 3 & 7 time slots. CBS & NBC might have an exclusivity with Big10 that another Network linear cannot be shown at those times.
It might also help the Big12 because it brings clarity to the overall expansion picture. If FOX knows their $ commitment to Big10, then they can make a clear decision weather to invest in the Big12's 15th & 16th spots. But I said last week, FOX is paying $12M per school of the $32M. I have a tough time believing FOX won't pay the $24M annually to keep them and ESPN the only TV partners in the Big12. FOX is vested in not letting an Apple, Amazon or other streamer in the picture.
