"Hold my beer and watch this..."
In fairness, the signed it not with no knowledge of the absolutely stupid deals the SEC and Big Ten were going to sign. More a victim of timing than anything. They ******* signed the GOR.
The FSU president isn't just firing shots across the ACC bow, he has his targeting solution and is launching torpedoes.
Wow, that Big Ten is SOOOOooooo nice. Throwing a lifeline to those poor PAC teams way out there in the west... when there was a P5 team right inside their footprint that was twice on the verge of being left behind.
And they didn't bat an eyelash.
It's all about the money. DUHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Who would have ever thought that, if conferences ever consolidated to a Power 3, that the B12 would possibly have a seat at the table. I mean, who knows what is going to happen, and if it will happen this year or in 5 years, but you have to agree that the B12 has a great chance to be #3.Why does everyone care who gets the “blame”? That doesn’t matter at all. B10 taking ORWA effectively kills the P12, where they can’t even backfill, and nets us the 4 corners. Which is what everyone wanted when USCLA departed.
I do want the ACC to hang on a little longer to get the 4 corners integrated. That way when Clemson, FSU, UNC, UVa and whoever else goes to the SEC/B10, they can’t backfill with Utah and ASU
The vultures are circling now

I think there were some posters on here that thought schools wouldn't ask for unequal revenue distribution until a few years down the road. I'm too lazy to find specific posts, though.
Regardless of who leaked this or their motives… this makes it impossible for them to get a GOR or a media deal figured out.
Within reason, the competitive imbalance is a feature. A mix of big dogs and little dogs is just more interesting than a bunch of medium-sized dogs.I disagree with that. College football has always had a competitive imbalance.
