I actually think they do. They were super paranoid about being the league that killed the Rose Bowl and now I think the same thing is happening when they've been 'rival conferences' for 100 years.
If there's any blowback, let somebody else take it and still get what you want.

If the Big10 is truly exploring of adding more teams, I think the play for the Big12 is to try and add Arizona and then stay with 14. I don't think Arizona itself would be the death of the PAC; I think that lies with either Oregon or Washington.
Stanford is pretty hard core on NOT sharing their research or money with other universities. I think internal school politics would likely kill any Stanford to Big 10 movement. Most of those administrators could care less about what level of athletic completion their participate in.
She's been a Big 10 mouthpiece and overall idiot throughout realignment. She works with Stew, so no surprise there.

The B1G would love to be able to have USC and UCLA plus pull Oregon and Washington in for several years at a Big 12 price tag and allow everyone to pin killing the league on the Big 12 for taking....Arizona and Colorado.

Did you see the article earlier with Sanky’s comments about wanting realignment to end for this round? The hypocrisy was thick in his assertion that this is bad for college athletics. These people don’t care about what happens to the PAC. They just want to know the Oregon and Washington will be available when they want them. They are not happy that the Big12 is forcing their hand to make their decision before the ACC can be raided.
Nicky is not good. I saw a panel with several sports “people” on it and Holly Rose basically beat her so bad that she started feeling sorry for her later.

I'm trying to decide if I think the royal family or the catholic church is a closer comparison to the Big 10 for how they percieve themselves and want others to perceive them versus how they actually are.
I don't see why the B1G would want WAOR tbh. It's another mouth to feed in terms of linear timeslots that takes away from the member schools already and it won't add anymore per team to the media deal.
