Unless the PAC 12 pulls something out of their ass and somehow gets to similar money as the Big 12, with similar exposure, I think it's an obvious choice. FWIW, I don't think they'll get either.
A public statement of preference, or a statement announcing that the 3-pack deal is already done?So PAC 12 wouldn’t even reveal the deal they had before Colorado left. Colorado and Prime leave and the PAC 12 gets a blockbuster deal a few days later? GK should be fired for not releasing the deal earlier then.
IMO the reason for the statement that Arizona prefers to go with ASU and Utah as well. Putting pressure on BY and Big 12 to take all 3. And not just one team.
Ya don't say.
Would still hit thoughThey're like the girl who thought she was too good for you and shut you down over and over.... but then wants to try and hit you up years later after her messy divorce and a dose of reality.
Judging by a decade on CF, I KNOW all of you can relate.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Ames after traveling too and from our flight to Chicago. And Iowa State is the capital of fan engagement. It really is one of the best kept secrets in CFB.
It's a double edged sword because it's hard to quantify and prove, you just have to be part of it somehow to know. It's the only reason this site exists in the form it does.
Hey.. nobody ever accused Iowa Staters of having the highest standards.Would still hit though
Ya don't say.
I feel like I've seen some hesitation on Oregon and Washington but you 100% take them if they are wanting to join.
1. They definitively kill the PAC. Right now it's probably done regardless but the landscape could change in a few years so being 100% certain of this is good.
2. You elevate the top end of the Big12. You're adding 2 of the the very few programs who have been to the playoffs.
3. Points 1 and 2 mean the Big 12 is now looking at 2 maybe 3 playoff births every year vs 1.
4. I'm not convinced they will have an opportunity to jump. SEC isn't taking them and the Big10 already could have them if they want. And even if they do move to the Big 10 in a few years that will time out with end of the ACC GOR and the Big 12 can just fill in from there Once the top teams defect from the ACC.
5. They won't be Texas. The league is unified and we would be saving them. I don't think they'd be able to throw much weight around. A lot of these ADs would be ready to deal with any BS.
I've posted it before, but I have been to Tucson for business a few times. They do support UA. You see people with UA gear on, and the little bars and such have UA stuff as well as PHX Cardinals and some Suns.I do business with Arizona fans, a lot of them. They are like Iowa State fans in the 90s, huge into basketball, excited about football for about a week in September but then the focus quickly shifts to basketball. I'm sure if their football program were better their fans would be way move involved and viewership will go up.
