Bill Walton is one of the greatest athletes of all time. I really doubt he does the drugs. No idea. But I’m sure it involves a lot of drugs.

He'll probably consume a whole plate of edibles and vibrate into a higher plane of existence. No idea. But I’m sure it involves a lot of drugs.
Just thinking out loud - I had wanted Arizona and ASU for that rivalry, but I wonder if the idea would be go to 16 (Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Washington) and then having every team in the conference schedule a non-con rivalry week, which then lets Arizona still play Arizona State.
I realize Arizona State would have to agree to it, but they got their own asses into this mess. Probably the only school I don't feel bad for.
I think the general consensus is that neither side is interested in sniffing the other. Big 12 wants programs that will invest in athletics. Stanford wants to invest in silly things, like researching cures to incurable diseases.I think the B12 would take Cal and/or Stanford in a heartbeat.
BY really wants a foothold in CA and the west coast time zone. Arizona and Colorado dont give them that. neither does BYU.I think the B12 would take Cal and/or Stanford in a heartbeat.
i think Cal is the take here. not Stanford.I think the general consensus is that neither side is interested in sniffing the other. Big 12 wants programs that will invest in athletics. Stanford wants to invest in silly things, like researching cures to incurable diseases.
Those aren’t mutually exclusive.I think the general consensus is that neither side is interested in sniffing the other. Big 12 wants programs that will invest in athletics. Stanford wants to invest in silly things, like researching cures to incurable diseases.
Agree. What happened to their football program these past ~15 years? They’ve put Aaron Rodgers, DeSean Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Jared Goff, Keenan Allen in the NFL not that long ago.i think Cal is the take here. not Stanford.

a string of bad coaching hires, the rise of oregon and utah, recruiting misses, etc...Agree. What happened to their football program these past ~15 years? They’ve put Aaron Rodgers, DeSean Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Jared Goff, Keenan Allen in the NFL not that long ago.

check back this afternoon. So, Colorado is officially coming to the Big 12?
i mean... BY hasnt had a made a bad move yet in this whole deal. i trust him fully until proven otherwise? do you think i meant BYU?We should take Cal for sure, but we should do absolutely nothing because BY wants us to.
And I don’t think Cal and/or Stanford would ever consider joining the B12. Heck, Cal is probably more likely to go D-3 than move to the B12.I think the B12 would take Cal and/or Stanford in a heartbeat.
BOR vote happens around 2:00check back this afternoon.
I will eat my shorts and the person who posts below this posts shorts if we add a California school. What do ppl think Cal brings? Great academics but essentially a poor man's northwest. Nothing on the field, arrogant, apathetic fan base. Seems like a horrible cultural fit. They seem like the poster children for how much the PAC doesn't care about sports.
