Of the three I had the most affinity for MU. But the way they acted when they left, all three can drown in mediocrity. Don’t care if we turn them down should they want to come back.Eventually, give it a few years, OU and Nebraska will figure out that losing sucks in Big 10 and in SEC and may want to return.
I see some older facilities for sale now. that makes senseBelieve the maschoffs sold out to seaboard, at least the ones I know.
I dunno, I think the last thing the B12 needs right now in this unusual time of general conference agreement is to add any teams who have eyes for other suitors. Bringing in schools who are still fluttering their eyes at the B1G just seems like more of Nebraska/Texas all over again.I would much more like to have Wash and Oreg in the B12 than Stan or Cal, and I think when it comes to the latter 2 they feel the same way about coming to the B12. They would just never fit in and it would probably cause internal issues if they were to join the B12.

Heard he's in discussions to acquire land that overlooks Ada HaydenWhat happens to Bill Walton once the "Conference of Champions" is dissolved?
I also believe the value of being the premier basketball conference is understated.a night to sleep on it and here are my thoughts....
-GK has to put a deal on the table by end of next week. honestly that may not be soon enough. and not the idea of a deal. an actual contract that is finalized and ready to sign.
-what a great feeling to be on the other end of this after a decade plus of being poached.
-i like the idea of leaning hard into basketball. i also like the idea of shooting way past 16 teams if possible. we have already ditched the round robin scheduling and might as well go big now. Gonzaga, Oregon, SDST, UCONN, Arizona... lets get em all.
-i am intrigued by Cal. i know they dont have the best athletic profile, but there are some intangibles there that are intriguing.
-the teams noted above fully get the big 12 into the west coast time slot and really solidify the footprint of the big 12.
We raise a lot of pork and beef so I would say sausage and taco conference.
This. And Washington State fans were ******** leading up to the bowl game.I don’t feel bad for anyone…. nobody ever felt bad for ISU…. f’em!
Perhaps “Big Balls” can be the new conference name? Maybe “Big Cajones” can be painted on the field for the game in Mexico?
Honestly has the old “you don’t get to talk **** about our guys - only we get to talk **** about our guys” vibe to it. It’s been a long time since the Big 12 has been this fun.
We could sneak into that Tacos division. Carlos O’Kelly’s anyone? RIPAre those the names of the two divisions?

I think the B12 would take Cal and/or Stanford in a heartbeat. There are no worthwhile California schools remaining.
