Completely agree. If you want to hear “coach speak,” don’t ask Coach Dresser to opine on an issue.
I thought Campbell's response was much better overall. This sounds too much like the political crap we hear all the time. Ugh...Witch hunt! Fake news!

I agree 100%. The term "witch hunt" is shot full of political baggage. Many politicians use the term as a sound bite response to cover up and avoid talking intelligently about potential transgressions. It has gotten to the point that if anyone responds that they are the victim of a "witch hunt" I'm 90% convinced they are guilty of what they are accused of. Dresser beware!
My advice to Dresser is answer the questions directly and honestly. Cambell'e response was way way better.
Um...Dresser very clearly said they'll probably have guys suspended and they'll deal with it. Don't think he avoided anything.
But he did not have to sour his response with the term "witch hunt".
I guess I shouldn't be surprised at your reply. You are entitled to your opinions. Time to move on.
I don't think it's a stretch to think that he has more information than what we do and his response is probably due to the fact that the Gaming commission opened up an investigation on Iowa State student athletes only after the U of I athletes were found...hence to the term "witch hunt"....and sounds like these kids in trouble are minor infractions.
