HyVee Strawberry is one of my all time favorite fruity sodas.
I remember that being very carbonated
Glass bottle. Standing in the front seat of the pickup. Hear the gas sloshing around in the gas tank behind the seat.
Truck bed full of beer cans.

Please remember the cost of an employee is not simply wage or salary. There is employer paid taxes, benefits, workers comp, etc. All the stuff we employees like to act like does not happen when we complain about our base pay and employers. That sounds like a significant rounding up of labor costs (there’s no way they’re paying $20/hr and there’s no way it takes 2 hours to shop, check, and bag even my absurd orders) and completely ignoring any revenue. Grocery is a low-margin industry, and I don’t see how they would promote Aisles so actively if they are losing 5-6 figures a week (see what I did there with the rounding?).
It could've been another brand for sure. We'd hit the Hy-Vee and I'd get to pick out something to drink.
Now that I think of it I do maybe recall Hy Vee soda coming in those oddly shaped bigger glass bottles that weren't quite 2 liters?
At some point everything came in glass bottles so It makes sense. Lemon-Lime Gatorade in the stubby glass bottle definitely hit differently than the current plastic set up.

Nesbitt’s? That’s what I think of when I think strawberry (or grape) soda in bottles. It could've been another brand for sure. We'd hit the Hy-Vee and I'd get to pick out something to drink.
On my god, the fuel tank right behind the seat in the pickup truck. That’s a memory I haven’t had in a loooong time.I remember that being very carbonated

So it went from 10% all the time and sometimes 20% to 10% one time per week? Ouch.
