NBA: Tyrese Haliburton: NBA (& Pacers) record setter

I was thinking of other players who might have come close but it's really hard to find a decent shooter who also averages 10 assists. Curry had a 20 and 8.5. Stockton never scored over 18 ppg. Harden never close to 40%

If you would have made me guess, I honestly would have gone with Mark Price.

This is going to be some rando player.

Aryds Sabonis
Dan Marjle
Craig Ehlo

Also: Sam Cassel

No idea how NBA contracts work, but is he still on a rookie contract? When does he make the big money? Hopefully these former athletes bringing in the $$$ will help with the NIL stuff. I'm sure George's is doing his part to work these guys

He's roughly made 12 mil so far. 5.8 mil next year.
Then 2024 he's a restricted free agent, meaning Pacers can match any "best" offer if they don't resign him before that. He's staring down a BIG contract next year. BIG.

Can’t wait to watch him starting at PG for team USA next year at the Olympics.

He's pretty easily a top five American born player who would want to play on next Olympic team and has already had lots of success with USA basketball (actually close to top five American player without any qualifiers). Plus the perfect type of player to lead a collection of athletes who come together in short amount of time.

I would be surprised if Trae Young gets this sometime. Averaged 20 and 9 the last 4 years. Just get the 3% a little and he could do it

He’s a Penny/Steph hybrid.
