Who ever the is person in charge of working with the offense should be fired on the spot

It really looks like ISU just doesn't practice anything related to offense. The strategy is highly questionable to begin with, and the execution of the strategy is even worse. Lipsey turning down open mid-range shots is insane; he's not that bad of shooter. I posted this before...ISU players seem really lost on how to finish out close to the hoop. This problem was evident last year, and the staff really did nothing to improve it.

The offense was really bad today, but apart from a couple of games, the offense has been mediocre or worse since the MU game. The defense has been good enough...holding a team under 60 points should result in a win. ISU got a 6 seed based on what happened in the pre-conference schedule and the first few games of the conference.

The team was totally unprepared to play today. There is no excuse for that.

When you bring in guys that can't shoot, no level of offensive coaching is going to fix that. Our starting point guard apparently shot 22% from 3 in high school. That seems almost impossible for a D1 recruit.

These first two years TJ has done an incredible job getting us to the tournament. We play this style because our guys are so limited offensively. Hopefully things start to turnaround next year with some of the guys coming in.

Go ahead and blow off some steam wanting someone fired.

He was 38% his Fr season, injured his sophomore season, 38% his Jr season and 22% his Sr season. When he was offered and committed, he was a career 38% shooter.

You mean taking a realistic look at how sports goes?

In football, in 2021, I said before the season:
--don't just assume 2020 repeats itself and don't be surprised by a 8-4ish season because you don't just snap your fingers and recreate the same type of season just because everyone's back.

I got piled on for it, and then it happened.

For today, I said:
--Pitt's bad defensive stats don't matter in a one game scenario. Well, they got up into ISU's guards which was the way to beat ISU all season.
--playing in the Big 12 isn't just a given to a win.
--ISU hadn't beaten any tourney teams outside of the Big 12.

I DID expect ISU to be more crisp today but that didn't seem to be the case. Happens.

On the season, I spun out trying to explain that ISU's talent level doesn't allow them to just 'do' what people keep expecting. Today was a prime example + a bad performance.

Why do you even care since you stopped watching? Are you going to be OK after this?
