They guy said Houston got the #1 because their 15-2 Quad 1 and 2 record and KU is 17-7 in just quad 1 lol. He had to add a bunch of Q2 wins in and it still doesn't make sense

First-glance at the classic 12-over-5 upset, I rank it this way for likelihood, and first two partly because of geographic element:
1. VCU-Saint Mary's
2. Charleston-San Diego State
3. Drake-Miami
4. ORU-Duke

NCAA committee chairman basically said OSU got penalized for not winning enough of their 18 quad 1 games. Meanwhile Nevada gets in only playing 9 and winning 4. Ok.

I'm not crying over KU getting screwed out of KC... but yeah, there was a certain amount of disrespect toward the Big 12 this year.

As far as us... I'm one of those that would prefer a 6-seed with a manageable path (which we have this year) than a 4 or 5 where you're almost always going to have a game 12 or 13 seed, and if you make it to the Sweet 16 you're likely staring down the 1 seed.
