Can't believe Pastner made it this long to be honest.

That's a program that has fallen a long ways from its previous heights. They used to be a national power back in the late 80's/early 90's. I'm also old enough to remember them playing for a national championship back in '04.

This slipped my mind until I searched ... Pastner has not coached a team past the first weekend of NCAAT (either at Memphis or GT).

Been a lot of reporting that T.J. is the lowest paid coach in the Big 12. We don't have anything to worry about, do we?

A few commonly cited hot seat coaches who probably get at least additional year:

Chris Collins (Northwestern)
Kevin Keatts (NC State)
Jeff Capel (Pitt)
Fred

Perhaps:
Bobby Hurley (Arizona State)
Brad Brownell (Clemson)

So...not to borrow trouble, but if some mid-major type jobs come up, which they will, do we need to think about Kyle Green being a target for an AD out there?

Collins has taken Northwestern as high as they have ever been. Granted not that high but still

Capel has had a decent year at Pitt and they seem to be improving

With ISU's success and defensive identity, would not be surprised if our assistants get some offers. Not necessarily as head coach, but assistant job with more pay.

The Rick Pitino sweepstakes will be interesting, feels like St. John’s in a no brainer right?

It doesn't look like there are going to be any Valley jobs open and I struggle to see him leaving the Midwest so I think he stays one more at least.

Could be 3 next year though. Valpo for sure and a chance that Missouri State and UIC could come open.

I think Darian's at Drake for the long run, fwiw....
