ISU was better in pretty much every stat but 3% and FT%.

Rebounds, steals, turnovers, FGs made, assists, blocks all ISU

I like our chances.

Overall, I can accept the result of the first half. Eventually, Baylor's elite scorers were going to find a way to get hot against the Cyclones. Yet, even shooting 54% from 3, Baylor is only up 3. Bridges can't stay that hot the whole game and Baylors "big 3" guards are good but not great today. The pace of play concerns me a bit, but keep forcing TOs, hitting the offensive glass and working the efficient offense (52% FG, assisting 10/16 FGs) and Cyclones should be in good shape when Baylor regresses to the mean.

Hindsight, yes, but he might have thought he wasn't going to secure it and maybe thought he could do a toss-ahead (appeared he was looking at one of our players in our frontcourt). That's going purely from memory of the play.

True. Had a big advantage on team fouls for a while, didn't get to the line enough and didn't shoot well when we did. Baylor got a lot of attempts and I think hit all of them?

I think OK St gets Texas but KU rallies around Self and beats WVU in tough game.

The irony of a walking cardiac like Huggy getting the win will prevail.

It was good d for most part other than a couple times we left a guy wide open.

We had a lot of steals and blocks. They have a lot of shooters.

Them taking lots of 3s has kept us out of foul trouble which I suspect may be part of why we're +30 points on them for the year.

Yeah, our defense definitely emphasizes keeping people out of the lane over giving open 3's. Usually the lack of rhythm takes care of the rest.

They are allowed to let the play finish and then call the technical after the three. That's what should have happened.
