*** Official IOWA STATE vs #7 Baylor Game(Day) Thread ***

This may have been the most wrong I have ever been about a game in our basketball history. Thought they had zero chance of keeping this within 10. Completely different energy today and the offensive play was something we really haven’t seen.

Major credit to the bench guys who played their asses off when finally getting a chance to show what they can do.

Great, great effort!! Fun to see the guys have success and have fun.

Walters made a great observation. Last Saturday Oklahoma played loose and was having fun against us. We looked lost and scared. Today the exact opposite.

This is how we played in that 6-2 start to the conference season.

So we were out walking around downtown St Louis since 10 this morning. Just turned on the game. I mean WTF???? ....in a good way for a change.

What in the actual **** happened today? Was Grill that much of a problem and we're just a better team now that he's no longer there? Or did cutting him have an unintended consequence of lighting a fire under their ass and waking them the hell up?

It doesn't always work, but sometimes in sports you just need to do something to change direction and get everyone pulling from the same side of the rope. Regardless of how "big" the CG issue was.
