He threw the second vote on oldman when Cyclonscin and JM were tied with two votes each earlier in the day. That’s a low-risk mafia move to bring another name into risk as a way of protecting someone (Cyclonscin), that doesn’t involve pushing someone else (JM4CY) into the solo lead and drawing attention.
10b: Members of the mafia can only make a maximum of two posts during Wednesday (2/22). If they make three or more, they will be eliminated from the game.
This is a good line of thinking. Another theory is that cyclonscin knew what he was doing and was protecting another member of mafia. This would likely only make sense if the other mafia had a more powerful role which is only Honest Abe at this point. This theory might be a long shot, but I'm just trying to understand why he did what he did.
Maybe. I also think that’s a theory that the Godzilla mafia would think of to suggest today.
Second game, but close enough. It was an ultra risky move (obviously) that didn't pay off, but could have. Oh well.@Cyclonscin

Man, I’ve read those last couple pages a few times now trying to make sense of it. My best guess as to what happened is that Cyclonscin expected JM to rescind off of him and vote for Michael as well. JM did respond to Discy saying he was “all about this” but didn’t want commit suicide, which is ironically what Cyclonscin did. Crazy.
I’m buying this. SCNCY’s vote for oldman seems like it could have been trying to protect Cyclonscin. Also, SCNCY’s vote for oldman came at 1:34. The very next minute Cyclonscin posted in the thread. They could have both been online at the same time after talking in their mafia DM.
