NWS just canceled the storm watch for our area.
One of the latest high res rapid update models shows Ames/DSM could be right on a really tight gradient between 4-6 inches of heavy wet snow and very little if any (20 miles could make a big difference).
WHO might be reading it too. Theyre calling 2.5 for Ames, but backed it up with 1-3. Same as KCCI.
I'm going to ******* pistol whip you if you keep watching/mentioning KCCI with as much as you've complained about them.
It's probably the only local channel he gets since WHO and WOI's antennas seem to have a range of about 1/4th of a mile.
Going to check out what KCCI has to say tonight and will post an update. hopefully it tracks further east.

Can you ban certain people from a thread? This circle jerk of insults between posters is really annoying every snow event.

You're doing it wrong then, every trace we get I'm out that with my Ariens. Need to keep it in top working condition.
If you have both a single stage and a 2 stage I could see having not busted out the 2 stage for most snows this winter.
But that heavy, slushy one a couple weeks back was one you needed that 2 stage.
