Just a had a light discussion today about an odd situation. Someone commits a crime as a 14-16 year old, the defendant waits until the perp is now 19 years old, is it right that they are tried as an adult at that time although their actions occurred when they were a juvenile? We were uncertain what is the right thing in the situation.
