Easy, run a motion offense. What they run doesn't work vs over playing, physical defenses like BU and UT, That is why Bill is 0-6 against them in 2022 and 2023. Bill has got the personnel to make it work. Look how the men do it:

Have opponents done better job in adapting? They still lost to us but probably did better limiting the damagesNot buying the tired legs. Maybe late in the game after playing 30 plus but not from the tipoff.
We have not shot the three well in league play. We are shooting 31%. We were only a bit better in N/C.
Last year, same peeps taking the threes for the most part (less only Aubrey), we shot 39%. Like this year, Joens/Ryan/Donarski rarely came out and averaged the same 36 minutes a game they are this year.
Same players. Same minutes. Same play style. Big inexplicable team drop off percentage wise.
Yes, opponents figure each other out. We are not overly complex.Have opponents done better job in adapting? They still lost to us but probably did better limiting the damages
I agree with what you are saying. I think it really hurt when we lost Stephanie as we had a game plan that was very strong. Then when Beatriz retired due to health issues that was a second blow. The shooting is a head shaker as it is part mental, some tired legs and some due to more teams putting pressure. Baylor's coach said in the post game any team can beat any other team on a given night. Texas Tech beat Kansas State Sunday and it was not even close at times. Texas only beat Kansas by 3 so it is a toss up this year. My hope is the 3's start dropping and we can finish strong. It bothers me that so many people have just given up on the team. The sad reality is that the sisters as they are….are a mediocre team. Capable of beating many in the 12 and not having the tools to beat others. If you look at other teams in the conference you’ll see many of the same missteps. There is a reason most aren’t ranked. ISU is still living in the rankings because of last year and pre-season hype.
as others and myself have pointed out there are two primary reasons this year's edition isn’t as good as last year. First and foremost, our post position has been decimated. Kane by herself just doesn’t work day in and day out. We no longer have an agile and mobile post in Jordao. Second, the three point shooting and additional lack of consistent offensive presence from the guard court is a killer. The final straw is the strange disappearance of M&M.
Any one of these factors is worth a couple of wins in games we have lost.
So here's a big question...likely may not be a good one to debate. In the losses that ISU has experienced post Soares, what do you see as the common themes that contributed to those losses? What can the team do to correct them? This isn't a coach or player bashing question so if you're tempted please refrain.

Name brand. Can't drop 'em too far after a 36-pt loss and 4 of the last 5.Ohio State only drops to #13 which is BS. They are in a yuge tailspin and should be down further until they win again.
Wondering why Izzi has been re-glued to the bench. He doesn't seem to trust anyone besides the star player and her inner planets of Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.BF needs to utilize more than 7 players
Added one name plus Carmen's last name (I looked it up, so I figured I'd add it).Brynn, Kidd, DK, Stacy, Michelle Jensen-Grawe, Erica Junod, Tracy Paustian, Lyndsey, Denae, Fallon Ellis

DK stands for Don't Know
The first pic in the tweet below is a group pic from the practice facility. I see two here that weren't in the other pic: Ashley Hagedorn on the far right, and someone I don't recognize between Soares and Pop.
Basketball alumni at the game. Fun to see who you recognize. I didn't do that great.
The faces and names come back for a surprising number of them, but others are left unrecalled. Pop, Chelsea, Kidd, Zimmerman, Bolte, Alison, and Brynn all leap off the screen. Melts your heart to see them again. Is there a list to go with the image?
