I got what you were saying. I was just adding a twist to it highlighting that one of (in my opinion) the Cowboys' two biggest threats wasn't even in there...
Yep, it is all about clicks and attention. As long as he keeps calling for the 49ers to lose, he will generate a reaction. Now, eventually he will be right and they will lose. That is what we will hear about. Not the 6 times that he was wrong.
I saw a picture of Brock in a 9ers baseball cap talking to him. I assume that was after the game.
I think what they were trying to set up was a pass in the middle third of the field followed by a lateral to the ball carrier behind the linemen on either of the two edges of the field. Then you have a ball carrier with a convoy in front of him. But the problem is he is only as fast as his blockers for a good portion of the run.
Was interesting and probably looking for a defense that is confused and doesn't line up to defend it correctly on one side or the other of the field. But if they defend it correctly it is doomed. Especially with how much ground they needed to cover.
It was a 1 in a 10,000 play from that distance. I think blowing up the RB that played center messed up what they were trying to do. I was really looking forward to a 12 lateral play. Not that I wanted Dallas to score, I just love watching a crazy desperate play that goes on for a while.

Brock was not perfect last night, but he was good enough. In general, you could tell that they didn't want him to do a lot, and were hoping that the running game would win the game. I was surprised by how much pressure they got on Brock and how many times he had to throw the ball away. Got to give he credit for holding on to the ball when he was sacked or had to scramble. The Dallas defense was pretty darn fast.
I suspect that they will not ask Brock to do a lot next week unless they get behind early. CMC was hurting a little in this game. Hopefully it was something minor.

Would the Cowboys have been better off with Cooper Rush starting last night? Dak has a higher upside but his terrible turnovers just kill the team. Rush seemed to do a much better job of taking care of the ball during his time starting.
If they don't ask Brock to do a lot next week, I don't think things will work out well for them. Can't play scared. Philly's offense is much better than Dallas', the 9ers are going to need to score to keep up.
I know we rate Stephen A. Smith only slightly above Skip Bayless on the “journalistic slug” scale, but listening to him give Michael Irvin shut all morning was actually quite hilarious.
I shake my head at all the people who say Brock is just being asked to manage the game. Brock threw for more yards than Dak did, so were the Cowboys also asking Dak to not do too much last night?
If the 49ers want to get to the Super Bowl, they have to let Brock be aggressive like they have all season, and I'm sure they will.
Shanahan was much more conservative with his play calling last night, but Brock still had to make some great throws at key points in the game for the 49ers to win. I am really amazed at his decision making as a rookie. During the first series, Dallas blew up a WR screen and looked like they might have a chance to get a pick but Brock ate the ball instead of forcing it. Not many rookies would have made that decision, but he did. He has been really outstanding.
I mean… Dak gets paid 40 mil. You don’t sit 40 mil on the bench in an elimination game?
