Never accept defeat at home.
Otz lost 5 times at home last season. You can't win the conference if you don't defend home court. IF we lost EVERY road game from here until March (Not including neutral sites). Those would all be Q1 losses. However, several home games this year will be Q2

I mean, these cancel out though, while handing a loss to the biggest contender for first.
And that KU road win would be a signature win on our team sheet
id lose to oklahoma state at home if it meant beating ku on the road
I would rather witness a win against a top 10 team than watch a top 5 loss on the road. Both will be Q1 and signature on a teamsheet.

We're talking Kansas here. Nobody gets more reasons for dislike than Kansas.
4 of the last 5 national champs in one year. That's a nice-sounding deal.
Tough because @KU is the best win we can get. But letting Hunter waltz back in here and win would suck for momentum as well. I think I'd lean Texas because on top of the drama stuff it would be nice to get Hilton back to being one of the toughest places to win at again

Yep. That is the bigger win for the big picture, which is getting in the tournament and getting a nice seed.

How I feel losing at the Phog is vastly different to how I would feel to lose at home to Texas and Tyrese. If its win one, lose one. Id rather not lose at home to Texas.
I would hate to beat KU, and then lose at home to Texas. I wouldn't be upset if we lost to KU, and then went on to beat Texas at home. If these two games were flipped on the schedule, I would probably take winning at KU.
Beat UT at home no question. Show recruits the money may be greener in Texas but that doesn't mean the grass is.
Since it's either/or, I can make argument for either/or.
I'll take at KU. As much as I'd like to go spotless at Hilton this season ... Slightly bigger impact for resume, and if we have any realistic shot at league title, being able to sweep KU is a key step. Plus, starting 5-0 in-conference, which I don't think has occurred since ISU's Final Four season -- 1943-44. (Correct me if I'm incorrect)

That's not really how it works. If you don't win at home then you lose, and a home loss is -1 while a road win is +1. So the negative impact of a home loss is the equivalent of the positive impact from a road win.
So then all things being equal there which win helps the team get to the tournament and have the best set up to advance in the tournament? I mean it’s not even a question.
