*** Official Texas Tech vs #14 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

It was TV for just a sec. If he was an old NBA player I’d assume he was just icing his knee. Not sure what to make of it, I thought it was ankle too.

Excuse me? For real? Tell me you are kidding.
For real, was in hospital last Wed to Sat.

Tore plantar tendon in foot week before Thanksgiving, all got Influenza on Thanksgiving, left for Disneyland day after and we all were miserable (I was on a riding scooter for foot). New years we all had stomach flu and then last Wed I had my issues. Haven’t been able to hear since Thanksgiving influenza. Been a **** of 6 weeks around here.

But Clones are rolling!

Only caught snippets on my phone but this is a team playing with some confidence.

I didn't see that one coming at all.

Probably still going to have some rough nights/patches but this is the first 4-0 start since 2000.

Quick research, so correct me if I'm wrong: I think that’s Tech’s most lopsided Big 12 loss since 2015 … lost by 37 … at Hilton! :)
Wasn't that when they were playing that walk on guard that had hearing problems? That team was terrible.

Sorry to hear that my friend. Glad you are still with us!!

I think he shun ices his knees regularly. I know I’ve seen him with ice on earlier in the season. He definitely rolled his ankle in the game though.
This is true. It was an ankle. Most likely high ankle and from his reaction after he started walking, I’m assuming it wasn’t as bad as it looked.

I was at the game FWIW. Not saying he won’t be limited Saturday but he looked to be in fine spirits when walking to the huddle and stuff.

It's a fantastic feeling to come out and really look sharp. I've been a fan long enough to have been through a number of let down games that strike not when we get some momentum, but when our ranking starts to actually recognize our momentum. I remember feeling exactly the same way about the football team a couple years ago.

25 seemed low last week based on our record and body of work. 14 seems a little high, though we had some other teams lose out of our way and give us a boost. Glad to see us rise to the occasion. In TJ we trust.
