49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

For those looking for legal ways to watch out of market games (no judgement towards those that Pirate)

You need to have Sunday Ticket which is only available on Direct TV. Evidently they have an exclusive contract with them.

However, and this doesn’t help us now, in 2023 YouTubeTV will have the Sunday Ticket available as an option.

So for me here in Chicago, it’s going to be the NFL Network highlights and what folks post from Twitter here in this thread.

It’s pretty sucky.

A bit of history for today's 49ers - Raiders tilt ... Jarrett Stidham, starting today for the Raiders, was an Art Briles recruit. Played at Baylor in 2015, starting a few games. But transferred to Auburn once the scandal went viral. ... Thought I recognized that name, so looked him up.

I knew he was at Baylor, but could have sworn he played a few years there. I don't remember him anywhere but Baylor.

I had to look it up to confirm, but Stidham got hurt almost immediately against us when we played Baylor in 2015.

He was good at Auburn. He was the QB on the 2017 Auburn team that beat #01 Alabama with Jalen Hurts, Josh Jacobs, Jerry Jeudy, Calvin Ridley, Minkah Fitzpatrick, etc.! Auburn won that game 26-14 (they use voodoo at Jordan-Hare Stadium) to finish 10-2 and win the SEC West. Then, the Tigers lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship and lost to UCF in the Peach Bowl to finish (10-4).
