Favorite FBS program outside of Iowa State?

Well my wife is Bill Snyder's niece, I was obsessed with Desmond Howard and the Michigan fight song when I was a kid, and I live about 3 minutes from the Drake campus so go to alot of their basketball games.

There’s also a few I tend to root for quite a bit because they’re usually good and I don’t like several teams in their conference or their rival/s but will easily root against in certain situations.

Like @JM4CY, I'll pull for the service academies.
Also, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest are easy to root for based on their conference foes.
Oh, and Oregon State, mainly for their mascot

I went to Arizona State (Well Mesa CC) then one semester at ASU. So that is my second favorite team. However, we pretty much suck at all sports except Baseball, and those types of sports. I really like Alabam and yes 100 percent jumped onto that bandwagon. I just want a National team to root for and I went to a game and was amazed how awesome that place is down there. So it was really dope when Proctor changed to them. haha

Illinois, my whole family went there but me. I root for Tennessee because I was a hair short of going their, had my dorm assignment and everything ready to go.

I don’t really have a second team, but I’ve always had a soft spot for WVU, Cincy, and the service academies.

My feelings towards WVU have changed since they became an annual opponent and I assume the same will happen with Cincy. But man, I loved those Thursday night Big East games back in the 00’s.

I almost always cheer for the Big 12 teams in non-con play. I hardly ever cheer for KU basketball.

If I was forced to pick a school from each P5/P6 conference, it would be:

Clemson - I like Dabo
Wisconsin - They usually beat Iowa
BYU - Love their TV product for the conference. Passionate fans and a global brand. Really happy they are in.
Creighton (BE basketball)
USC - Will take the place of Wisconsin in '24
Arizona - Replacing USC in '24
Tennessee - Sucker for the checkerboard

I enjoy when Iowa loses and I enjoy when Iowa wins. My relationship with Iowa is complicated.
