We're supposed to drive 3+ hours across I-80 on Friday for Christmas. Might push it back to Saturday. Ugh. Weather gives me such anxiety.

Not looking promising for any of my kids to make it through this. Maybe the two in KC on Christmas Day. Looks like a foot of snow the day the one on the east coast is supposed to fly in and then it will be white out blowing conditions Friday and Saturday. Pretty depressed but sure as heck don’t want any of them dying just to get here.

Lol I'm going to lose my mind. Kids have flu and home from daycare now. 50mph blizzard later this week...so that's when dh and I will be deathly I'll and daycare will close.
Yeah, we're headed up to WI for family Christmas and now I'm not sure if we can make it on Friday, or if we wait until Saturday. I don't think we can push out early on Wednesday.
Oh geez gods speed! I had it after thanksgiving and was in bed for 4 days. It was brutal.
What I’m reading about this storm is that snow totals don’t matter. It’s gonna be ******, cold weather for a few days and you’re going to want to make sure you have your Christmas shopping done — food and presents both. It’ll become more hospitable on the 24th but the bounce back effect from shoppers who couldn’t shop the 22nd and 23rd is going to be insane for retail.
Any of you peeps flown out of Cedar Rapids? Wondering how early you have to show up for their flights.
Supposed to have Xmas at my mom's (.5 mile from the MN line west of Highway 63) on Friday and my brother lives in the Twin Cities. I live about 30 minutes east of my mom's so we'll see what comes of it.
I pretty much had the full tour. I started with a lot of drainage and a lack of energy. About 8 hours later I was pretty much wiped out. Aches, chills, sweats, temp, massive headache. etc. Just rest rest and rest and let it run it's course. I'm really hoping you don't get it.Tell me it does not start with a mild headache and runny nose.
Parent just landed there and said it was 5 min from landing to car. I'd bet 90 min from departure is plenty.
Guess I'll pray kids can go to daycare next two days. Got work **** to get done too. Come on flu shot. Combat the toddler sneezes directly to the face.
