I see the Mahomes/Kelce commercial frequently on espn+. Anybody think Hy-Vee would be well served to do the next one with Purdy/Kittle? If they are determined to have a pro sports figure why not do it with guys that have ties to the state?

Way more Chief fans in Hy-Vee territory. By the way, our local Hy-Vee put in a Walburgers. Decided to try it out.

Walburgers is overpriced, and it takes forever to get a burger and fries. And the meat itself had very little flavor. Don't think I'll be eating there again.

I tried it when it first opened, and was similarly underwhelmed. Then my son's school held a fundraiser there, a few months ago, and it was significantly better, but still overpriced.
Those are the only two times I've been.

They sell their "proprietary" blend of ground beef. I never tried it and have desire to give that family more money.

A Hy-vee and Wahlburgers are opening soon near me. I looked at the menu and wasn't impressed. I'll stick to the local bars with a bigger variety.

Probably a good idea. I paid $16 for a ****** burger and tater tots that took over 20 minutes for them to make. Didn't include a drink either.

No. Don't ruin Purdy's reputation with those crappy commercials and even crappier jingles.

We need to create a bingo for every Hy-Vee thread.

Armed Cops, Whalburgers, Clothing Store, Bath Bombs, Dating Show, Commercials (By specific type Party, Party!, Our House), High Prices, No Helpful Smiles.

what's missing.

In Ames it started a couple of weeks ago because of so many thefts.

I've seen an armed guard in Ames. He keeps a very high profile just beyond the checkout lines. Generally speaking, he seems professional, stays awake, and is friendly. I didn't know that HyVee had such a big problem with theft.

I didnt either until I asked the lady checking me out at the register. Apparently someone/ somepeople were stealing alot.

They're still doing that Wahlburger thing? I'm guessing they have some contract with them but I've never heard anyone rave about them.
If I'm going to take my lady out on a date to Hy-Vee I'm not going to Wahlburgers that's for sure #Hy-Chi4Lyfe.
Nothing more romantic than the fluorescent haze of a Hy-Vee supermarket

Should be better solution than killing somebody for petty theft.
