Yeah I've seen this Meme, but he came in during garbage time in the Chiefs game when the Chiefs were winning by a ton. He promptly drove them to scoring position and threw an INT in the red zone. It was very ISU like

Don't ya just love it!! Brock Purdy and legit chance to win the Super Bowl....this year! Eagles on the road will be tough, but what a story.Yeah, these guys don't know the details. They just know what their research assistants tell them and what they learn from the game broadcast. Take it with a grain of salt I guess.
In other news, it's insane how much press Purdy and ISU are getting. I've never seen anything like it in my life...just wow.
Hey, more power to her. I have to admit, if she did that to me, I wouldn't object. But that was the first time, on live TV, I ever got a "that's creepy" vibe from a Woman. It felt really close to the Joe Namath Suzy Kolber incident to me.You see Brock's pocket presence? Deftly steps away from the pressure of the Cougar pulling the stool out for him and finds his spot next to Fitz?
That's something you see out of a 10 year vet.

It reminds me a bit of Linsanity
Purdy is the epitome of confident, not cocky.Yeah, these guys don't know the details. They just know what their research assistants tell them and what they learn from the game broadcast. Take it with a grain of salt I guess.

It's an amazing story with a guy who is extremely easy to root for, but all I got was dead silence from my Iowa friends except one that said he bet on the Seahawks. There is a very real bitterness toward any displays of Iowa State pride. They thought we'd go away after this football season and the basketball beatdown lolYeah, my BiL is a huge Hawk fan and I have really enjoyed needling him about Purdy the past few weeks. I know he is (desperately) hoping the other shoe drops and Purdy fails miserably.
Doing that in a Thursday night game was huge for PR, gives all these 24 hours sports channels something to talk about for two days with no competition. He'll come back down to earth at some point, this super bowl talk is grade A crazy, but I'm here for the ride, I hope he keeps it going.
Cousins isn't the problem for the Vikings this year. The defense is.Kirk Cousins being so high tells me all I need to know about this data set.
****, Cousins is the only offense the Vikings have. The run game is horrible.Cousins isn't the problem for the Vikings this year. The defense is.
Mr Irrelevant winning the super bowl as a rookie is up there with Kurt Warners story. You know the NFL wants to see Brock make the Super Bowl.
Greatest story in NFL history if it all comes to fruition.
SF is a really well built team. SB isn't something "now that they have Purdy". They were in the running.Doing that in a Thursday night game was huge for PR, gives all these 24 hours sports channels something to talk about for two days with no competition. Fitzpatrick won me a fantasy league championship when he was with the Bills. He had a string of years where his stats were greatRyan Fitzpatrick was a longtime journeyman QB for a bunch of teams. He had some good runs in Miami and Buffalo.
He made a ton of money from being the backup QB who would always come into games and play well for a bunch of different teams. He also was very unlucky in that the only times he was a starter, it was almost always when the organization was a dumpster fire.
Honestly he is a lot like Purdy in that he wasn’t necessarily the best measurables guy, but lots of moxie.
Same. I found a podcast I think called 49ers Talk. I think it's affiliated with their local NBC station out there. Solid stuff and strongly recommend for those that can't get enough of Brock talk. They interviewed Lynch last week.I listened to San Francisco sports talk radio today. They were saying Purdy didn't throw the ball at all this week until yesterday because the pain from his injury was so bad.
