It's too bad the assistants didn't just let him go. Love to see him get suspended and pay another fine for his Irish tough guy schtick.
Really wished we showed up on Thursday. Would be interesting to see how adding King to our lineup helps us. No question Iowa was the better team that night. But would like to see both teams at full strength.
Those folks look well practiced in holding him back.
What are their practices like?
I mean it doesn't work this way, but to play that game, we would be adding in King, who we have no idea what it will be like with so much time off. They would be adding the best player on the court in Murray. Not sure the game would go better.
I don't care who was playing, just anyone that played like they knew they were in a basketball game.
You know what, doesn't even matter.
I'd rather beat St. John's, lose to Iowa and beat McNeese State than Lose to Duke, beat ISU and lose to Wisconsin in a week.
ISU got punked and learned from it. Iowa had a hangover. ISU is undefeated in the Big Xii, and Iowa starts off in an 0-1 B1G hole.
